Activities
Part of the MHVLUG mission it to get people together to discuss and explore open source technologies and topics. We do this with a number of different kinds of activities.
Monthly Lecture Series
MHLVUG hosts a monthly technical lecture series on the first Wednesday of the month. The goal of the lecture series is to expose people to the breadth of open technologies out there. The meetings attempt to accomodate all levels of understanding, and vary between end user, it administrator, and developer centric topics. Learn more.
Hackathons and Meetups
We do a number of smaller events focused on getting people together to work on projects. These include our Hackathons, which are free form events where people bring their own projects and Meetups for a more specific kind of gathering.
MHV Lunch
Once a month, typically 2 weeks after the monthly lecture, we have a lunch gathering in Poughkeepsie. This is a pretty free form discussion environment, and provides a good social time for members of MHVLUG. All are welcome to attend.
